Aaron Williams

With a few transpacific crossings under his belt, this San Diego native, has previously participated in Transpac and Pacific Cup.  Aaron enjoys racing on a wide variety of boats including; SC 52 Turbo Kokopelli2, AC ITA16 II Moro, 1928 10m Sloop  Sally, and a Flying Tiger 10 Abacus. In the last Pacific Cup, Aaron raced in as the navigator onboard Anais, a Hanse 505, which won first in class and in their division. This pirate spends his time on land working Cybersecurity for AT&T, chilling with his Schipperke, Osito, and drinking rum.

Dillion Rainwater
Nickname: Dilligain
Age: 27
Accolades: 100 ton Captain, engineer

Dillion’s entire life has revolved around the waterfront. Spending his childhood on his fathers lobster fishing vessel and as a caretaker for boats, it was no surprise that he chose driving around in a 10 foot Livingston instead of diver’s ed.

A man of many talents, Dillion spent almost a decade working with his dad as a marine diesel mechanic. When he was 18, he also picked up jobs working as a deckhand for a 75’ Sunseeker Predator, and a past Transpac barn-door winner Swiftsure. Dillion has since sailed on a ridiculous amount of sailboats, including racing his Nautica 27, engineering for the sailing cargo ship, SV Kwai, crewing deliveries, sailing for ocean plastic cleanups, and of course, racing MAYHEM.


Michael Pacholski
Nickname: Black Beard
Age: 22
Accolades: University of Hawaii Sailing Team, Sailing Team Captain

Mike graduated from University of Hawaii at Manoa in May 2019 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He sailed on the UH sailing team for allfour years, sailed in multiple national championships, and was the 2018-2019 Team Captain. Mike was awarded the Mikey Murison Memorial Sportsmanship Award by the PCCSC conference.

Growing up in Santa Cruz, Mike spent plenty of time racing Moore 24s in big breeze and crewed on the Farr 40, Astra, for a few seasons.
While attending college in Hawaii, Mike crewed on fellow Hawaii Transpac Andrews 70, Trader, as well as racing Cal 20s, Melges 24s, and J/80s at Kaneohe Yacht Club. Mike has also enjoyed organizing an all-collegiate team for the Lahaina return on theJ/80. His California summers were spent picking up rides on the Class 40, California Condor, with which he participated in the OYRA series and helped them win a few races and overall season.

Mike’s strong background in the 29er led into an obsession with the International 14, attending one world championship. Post Transpac, he plans on attending the next one in Australia. Mike also plans on helping coach the UH sailing team keelboat program in the upcoming year, with the goal of keeping people passionate for offshore sailing.
